Role

This is a hands-on role for a highly experienced Rust engineer whose objective is to build the next generation of blockchain infrastructure. Qredo has a novel plan to build infrastructure that is fit for purpose in the modern financial system. Qredos novel solution will aim to facilitate high throughput transactions that are verified more efficiently by validators, than current schemes proposed within the blockchain ecosystem (these are not conventional proof of work/of stake schemas).

The Rust Engineer will focus on the security, stability, scalability, and flexibility of Qredos blockchain infrastructure. The engineer will need to apply concepts from computer science/cryptographic/mathematical research to the software they will be tasked with building. This may mean reading research papers and reading mathematics.

If chosen, you will work on our core codebase, contributing to product design decisions and getting involved in the day-to-day activities of a small but highly productive development team. This is the perfect role for a highly experienced engineer who enjoys adopting new technologies and who sets high standards for themselves and those around them. You will be a leading and influential member of our development team.

Responsibilities

* Build the next version of Qredo chain from the specification produced by the CTO and engineering manager.
* Comprehend the current state of the Qredo chain.
* Our current stack is a mixture of Go, C, Python and JavaScript.
* Proactively contribute to product and system design and architecture
* At your discretion get involved with other aspects of the works undertaken by the R&D Department such as:
* Customer integration
* App Development
* UI Design
* Attending meetups
* Recruiting other team members
* Mentor junior staff members

Skills and Experience

* Highly experienced with Rust
* Good teamwork and communication skills
* Excellent conversational English skills
* Experience with some of C/C++, WASM, Go, Kotlin, Java, Python
* System architecture and design, unit testing
* Familiarity with Docker, AWS, Linux
* Computer Science Degree or relevant degree
* Knowledge and interest in cryptocurrencies
* Debugging, diagnosing and solving problems

Blockchain Integration Specialist [Remote]


Key responsibilities

* Build, improve and maintain clusters of blockchain daemons/consensus nodes in a scalable and highly redundant way

* Develop Node/JS workers, in Bitfinexs microservices infrastructure, that interface with blockchain nodes API (REST/Websocket) interfaces

* Implement robust monitoring tools to control the stability of Bitfinexs blockchain infrastructure

* Create good quality policies, procedures and technical documentation

Requirements

* Previous experience in interacting with blockchain nodes (ie. Bitcoin, Ethereum)

* Strong passion for Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies

* Advanced Node/JavaScript skills

* Familiar with microservices architecture and REST APIs

* Ability to quickly learn new technologies

* Advanced understanding of security practices

Nice to have

* Solidity, Rust or Golang skills are a plus

* Other technologies of interest: Message queues (Redis), Caches and Job Queues

You will review smart contracts, blockchain infrastructure code, and decentralized applications for security vulnerabilities using a combination of manual code review and analysis with our tool suite.
Responsibilities

Work directly with the leading blockchain industry teams to review their code and help secure their products
Design and implement solutions to difficult engineering and research problems
Collaborate with teammates to maintain and continually improve our existing blockchain security tools using modern software engineering practices



You are passionate about blockchain technology, crypto-economic protocol design, game theory, and decentralized finance
You have a basic understanding of some common cryptographic vulnerabilities.
You have a professional understanding of Solidity or Rust development and deployment of smart contracts
You possess great written and spoken communication skills. We highly encourage all engineers to get regular face-time with customers, to write company blog posts about their accomplishments, and to deliver presentations to the technical community
You care about building high-quality well-tested code.
You are proficient with Git

By facilitating new types of data pipelines and ecosystems, we support and accelerate the birth of the Web 3.0, in which decentralized applications can securely exchange data and value.

### Key Accountabilities
* Plan, implement and manage marketing strategy
* Create email funnels as well as a monthly newsletter
* Work on ads and sponsorships across social networks, search, podcasts, newsletters, and other channels alongside our Social Media Manager
* Be the main editor of the Streamr Medium blog. As such you will proofread content and animate colleagues and community members to write blog posts
* Manage the marketing calendar including upcoming events, content pieces and partnership announcements
* Create together with Streamrs Community and Social Media Managers social media content funnels for Twitter and Linkedin
* Find suitable crypto events and help secure speaking slots for team members
* Handle branding collateral like stickers, banners & other merch
* Help with distribution of press releases

### Skills and Qualifications
* Passionate and positive, can-do attitude
* At least 3 years experience in marketing (at least 1 year in crypto)
* Fluent in English. Additional languages are advantageous.

About the Job
As an Asset and Protocol Research Analyst, you will be responsible for conducting deep structured research on top cryptoassets and protocols. This position is the perfect opportunity to enter the crypto research space and learn from one of the industrys leading research teams. Analysts will produce reports based on an internally created template and cover 1-3 protocols or assets per week and assist in peer review of reports from other team members.

This is an entry-level position that will allow you to gain exposure to multiple facets of the research process and industry. Analysts will also have the opportunity to write thematic research, participate in client calls, and work with other teams at Messari after six months in the role.


We are currently a remote company and are open to any remote candidates. Our team is from around the world and we plan to meet up in person as often as possible but have the process in place for productive remote work.
