Android Developer and Software Engineer at Hope Booth

Hope Booth
is in the final stages of our permanent Booth & we need the help of API developers who have a background in Linux to help connect eye tracking into our app/experience. Our booths will be permanently installed by early summer (August) so we're looking for highly qualified applicants!


What is Hope Booth?
We are a non-profit organization that is pioneering a movement where no one goes unseen. We’ve had the privilege of impacting over 700+ lives internationally through our prototype from 2021-22. This summer we transition from a prototype we’ve toured with to PERMANENT booths. 


Our desire is for eye-tracking to recognize when a participant no longer has eye contact on the experience, pause, & take further action. An example:

  • The video pauses & says "You are worth waiting for, resume when you can," with 30 seconds to 1-minute countdown on screen before the experience restarts

The language for the API is C# & we'll be using an Android tablet
(which specific tablet is undetermined presently). We are looking for an IOT API Web developer with experience in embedded products.

Community Support

Job Description


We are looking to add a Community Support team member to help support our growing community of independents and clients. Reporting to our Head of Community, you’ll be responsible for weekend support coverage at Contra.


We are looking for someone to work Friday-Monday during 9am-5pm EST. The total hours would be between 20-30 hours per week.


The deliverables are the core responsibilities of this role. We are looking for enthusiastic and capable individuals who are passionate about advancing their own knowledge, our users' experience, and Contra's business goals.


Deliverables

  • Manage the entire lifecycle of Contra users (Independents + Clients) with an eagerness to go above and beyond for our users.
    • This means providing timely support responses, jumping on a call with users who need help, creating resources to improve users’ ability to be successful on Contra, sharing a loom/video guiding the user in the right direction, etc.
  • Support Clients on Contra
    • Review new job postings and match Contra Independents with their dream opportunities. Review inquiries and import job postings to streamlining clients’ workflows. Respond to client questions and messages. Call clients when needed to help them onboard to Contra.
  • Support Independents on Contra
    • Respond to support messages through email and Slack. Troubleshoot bugs and issues and respond within a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with the Contra Team
    • Share patterns and requests you see through support, and brainstorm ideas to improve our users’ experiences on Contra.
  • Track Metrics
    • Track metrics to ensure we maintain high response rates and user satisfaction.

We are seeking a process-driven Sales Development Manager. This role's primary purpose is to revolutionize the sales strategy and manage the sales pipeline and the representative team in delivering profits. 



REQUIREMENTS:

Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of proven professional experience in Sales, Legal Sales, Customer Success, Vendor Management, and /or Business Development.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree holder.
  • Demonstrated success in customer-facing roles, B2B and B2C, and strategic development with multi-phase execution and delivery.
  • Proven record of developing relationships with internal and external partners driving resolutions collaboratively.
  • Familiarity with analytical, planning and forecasting, performance management, and execution metrics tools including SalesForce, Transformer/TPM, Matrix, CAS, Power BI, QuickSight, Tableau, Zendesk, Jira, and other key data systems.
  • End-to-end proficiency with sales systems, policy management, and operations.
  • Faultless written and spoken English while other languages count as an advantage.
  • Successful past or present experience in B2G collaborations is preferred.

You will:

  • Train generative AI models by writing and answering prompts in your area of expertise (Computer Science, Mathematics, Natural Sciences, Social Sciences, etc.).
  • Work in-sync with our project team to iterate on the model training process.

You'd have:

  • A completed PhD degree in one of the following areas:
  • Computer science
  • Mathematics
  • Natural science (physics, chemistry, biology, etc.)
  • Social science (psychology,. sociology, economics, history, etc.)
  • Strong writing skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours



Nice-to-haves:
