We are looking for an experienced and hands on Director of DevOps to lead our Infrastructure and CI/CD teams. In this role, Redox is looking for a hands on leader that can go from developing infrastructure as code to working on a yearly budget to troubleshooting our production platform and anything in between. This position is a leader within the Engineering organization and is expected to help empower our developers to be autonomous in their work. You will drive and influence change.

Responsibilities

Redox is searching for a leader that has had experience scaling DevOps teams alongside rapidly growing application Engineering teams. One of the key responsibilities that you will be responsible for the leadership of two teams of engineers: Infrastructure and CI/CD. This includes developing and leading team meetings, providing real time feedback, executing reviews and building long term plans for each team. Additionally, Redox is looking for a leader that can help solve complex day-to-day technical challenges.

Required Experience:


* You have managed and hired for DevOps teams in your past roles

* You have developed budgets and worked with finance teams

* You have demonstrable programming experience in at least one high level language

* You have a firm understanding of agile methodologies and their use cases

* You have worked as a hands on DevOps leader for 5+ years

* You have a solid understanding of networking technology

* You have a great understanding of containerization technologies

* You have an ever better understanding of Linux




Preferred Experience:


* You have scaled both CI/CD and Infrastructure teams in the past

* You have worked with open source projects and comfortable committing code back to an upstream provider

* You have worked with AWS for 5+ years

* You have a strong understanding of security practices and how they relate to DevOps

* Healthcare Experience/Interest

Integration Engineers provide the technical backbone for all of our integrations. Our job is not only to delight our customers, but ensure we maintain a toolbox full of robust, reusable tools to quickly and easily solve the toughest integrations. We wear different hats - developer, problem solver, quarterback - to ensure Redox can provide an agile, scalable solution to our customers. If you enjoy variety, solving for the root cause, and the sense of accomplishment that comes from solving ambiguous and challenging problems, then we want you as part of the team!




Responsibilities




* Act as a technical partner and adviser for the implementation team

* Understand integration capabilities within the healthcare IT landscape to be able to design, develop, and deploy sustainable and scalable solutions

* Define, document and promote best practices for implementing and supporting our customers

* Understand, analyze and implement opportunities for process improvement

* Design and develop (code) business layer logic for our integrations

* Communicate, document, and track development requests with the appropriate product owner

* Provide ongoing support for our live customers; quarterback efforts with other Redox and customer teams to implement root cause solutions timely and effectively










Skills and Experience Required




* Passion for solving complex problems quickly and creatively

* Excited about working in a constantly changing ecosystem

* Patient, agile, and able to grow with an expanding team and company

* 1-3+ years of experience in a healthcare integration technical customer service role

* Able to learn and understand new technical concepts quickly

* Experience educating both technical and non-technical audiences on complex topics

* Able to think and problem solve on your feet

* Excellent communication and presentation skills

* Have a working understanding of APIs and web service protocols

* Strong experience with traditional and modern data formats such as: HL7v2, C-CDA (CCD, QRDA, etc.), JSON, XML, etc.

* Basic knowledge of networking and VPN concepts

* Experience with javascript, python or other scripting languages

* Working knowledge of relational databases and SQL queries

This role spans the developer experience from local development to production. In this position, you'll be architecting, building and maintaining our continuous integration and continuous delivery platform allowing our developers and engineers to rapidly deploy code and ship software with a key focus on speed, safety and usability.

Responsibilities
Redox is searching for someone who has a firm understanding of industry trends and approaches to delivery pipelines. This role is expected to build and design software that meets the unique Redox development pipeline. As a DevOps Engineer you will be writing software, tests, checks and deployment mechanisms that assist in the software development life cycle. Additional responsibilities may include informing stakeholders of emerging technologies, assistance in architecting multiple solutions towards push stable code as quickly and safely as possible, participating in an on call rotation and assisting other engineers in resolving production related issues.

As a small team manager and full stack Single Page Application (SPA) engineer at Redox, you will lead and work alongside a team to create SPAs to configure the operation of, report on data flow within, and troubleshoot on our network.

You will work primarily within a service oriented ecosystem and our new front-end stack to create SPAs that:



* Support the efficiency of our internal users when bringing dozens of new organizations onto our network.

* Facilitate rapid troubleshooting and technical operations at a scale of millions of transactions per day.

* Delight our customers with the ability to understand, configure, and report on more aspects of their use of our network.




To be successful in the role, we expect that you will get to:


* Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop world class SPA applications.

* Work within a µ-service architecture

* Inspire a small team of developers toward technology goals you define such as:



* Defining and holding the team accountable to stringent Service Level Objectives for your SPAs.

As a full stack API engineer at Redox, you will develop ingress and egress solutions to bring our customers’ clients onto the Redox network.
